OUR HISTORY

	In the Beginning.....LastMinuteGolfer got its start in Atlanta, GA in 1998 (www.lmtt.com). We concentrated on providing Atlanta visitors and locals with the most accurate and current information on Atlanta's best golf courses, and we booked "last minute" tee times for visitors to the Atlanta area. We contacted all the local courses each night and helped them fill up their tee-sheets. December '99- Present...In late 1999, we introduced our online interface to allow golfers to book tee times online... providing access to tee times in Atlanta 24/7/365. Since '99, we have continued to improve our online reservation/ call center system, promoting the game of golf nationwide and providing golfers with the most user-friendly (and rewarding) way to find a tee time. We now serve hundreds of thousands of golfers in dozens of cities. Several hundred participating golf courses post tee times to our site; they control the inventory and the pricing of tee times that are posted. Some courses offer "last minute" greens fee specials. Golfers that are "flexible" and willing to prepay "last minute" golf continue to find our service increasingly valuable. Golfers now earn frequent golfer "yards" each time they book a tee times; these yards are redeemable towards free golf at hundreds of courses nationwide. In late 2005, we began promoting golf packages which gives our members a great way to take advantage of last minute vacations offered by some of the top resorts in North America. In July of 2007 The US Patent and TradeMark office awarded LastMinuteGolfer a Patent covering the most convenient interface to show tee times to golfers. In August of 2007, we released a Facebook Application for golfers- Golf Buds.

	3/20/08 - Jack Alexander joins LastMinuteGolfer as new CEO. Jack was co-founder and CEO of WorldTravel Partners for fourteen years, Jack led the company from $50 million in air sales to $4 billion during this period. Jack also co-founded the travel technology firm TRX, which he led to $70 million in sales during his time at Worldtravel. In 1999, Jack won Ernst & Young's National Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Principle Centered Leadership.

	3/10/08 - 150,000 Facebook golfers have GolfBuds! Over 150,000 golfers on FaceBook have installed our GolfBuds application to talk smack with their fellow golfers. 	7/24/07 - LastMinuteGolfer Receives Industry Pioneering PATENT! The US Patent and Trademark office recognized LastMinuteGolfer's unique system and issued a Patent (#7,249,041 B2) covering LastMinuteGolfer's convenient method for presenting available tee times to golfers. We originally filed for our patent way back in 2000.

	3/30/06 - TEN LastMinuteGolfers go to Augusta! As part of LastMinuteGolfers "Take a Friend to Augusta" promotion, LastMinuteGolfer awarded five lucky golfers (including one from Fargo ND!) with a trip for two to the 2006 Masters in Augusta, Georgia. 	9/8/05 - Golf For The Gulf Nationwide Charity Golf Event All LastMinuteGolfer Red Flag tee times available for Thursday September 8th, 2005 were priced at $25 per golfer, and all proceeds from the sale of these tee times has been donated to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts. 	6/15/05 - LastMinuteGolfer Dana Quigley continues his incredible season! 	1/13/05 - LASTMINUTEGOLFER TOUR TUESDAYS Off to a great start! Over 130,000 LastMinuteGolfers across North America released a cumulative cheer as LastMinuteGolfer Brett Quigley took a first round lead in the Sony Open. The first PGA Tour "in the booth" interview of the season on ESPN featured Brett talking about his round today and sporting his LastMinuteGolfer headwear... see screen capture at right. LastMinuteGolfer just launched its " Tour Tuesdays" program, giving members a chance to enjoy a free round of golf if members of the LastMinuteGolfer Team (Brett, Duffy Waldorf, and Brett's uncle Dana Quigley) win a PGA Tour event. LastMinuteGolfer members enjoy $10 golf if any of the members of the team finish in the top 10.
