Played July 21 and the course is in great condition. The greens are firm and fast and challenging. The rough is no joke if you miss the fairway you pay the price. Its hard to get out of and don't think about advancing the ball very far. Staff was friendly and the cart girl came around every thirty minutes. We played the LMTT rate which is an exceptional deal for a course of this caliber. Pace of play was great. I'll be back to play again.

I played Chattahoochee Golf Club on Wednesday June 17 for only $24! (red flag rewards). The Pro Shop was nothing special, sleeves of balls, tees, a few putters and drivers, shirts, ect. The Clubhouse and grill is very nice and offers regular golf grill items. I did not go to the range but they have one and has 100, 150, 200, 250 markers which is helpful and it is flat so you have a good idea of how far you are actually hitting the ball. They have a nice putting and chipping green. I would advise you to get there at least half an hour before your tee time so you can get a good feel of the greens. The tee boxes were in good shape. The fairways, in my opinion, were the perfect length! The rough was actual rough and was not just woods. The greens....AWESOME! The greens were very good! They rolled nicely and was a little fast. They were able to give you that touch and feel that everyone likes while on the green. Overall, this course is just in awesome shape! If you get a chance to play this course for even 30-40 dollars, it is a good deal!

I have only played here in tournaments as I feel the price is a little steep for non-residents. I enjoyed playing the course and thought it presented somewhat of a challenge with all of the sand.

Played here Sat 7th for the 1st time. Payed $45 with LMTT. From the std rack prices its quite a bit more unless you live local - so I wouldnt go back without a deal. The Pro shop had nothing apart from a few boxes of balls and some gloves. Not a club shirt or hat or anything. Looked like it was in a closing down sale... Didnt get anything from the grill so cant say. The cart girl did come round frequently The course: Greens were fast, in good shape and had very subtle breaks. Definitely the hardest part of the course. Fairways were still dormant - some wide some narrow. The layouts IMO is harder than 126 slope/6500 yards (blues tees 1 in from tips) we played. Some LONG par 3s too. A good mixture of right and left dog legs, tight and open holes with some good opportunities to unleash the driver - and reward if you hit it where you want to. Bunkers were in great shape - soft white sand in the ones I was in. Some tees and greens were close - so expect to shout or hear FORE during your round. Pace of Play - it was busy in the morning as the small car park was full so we were fearful of 5 hrs - but when we teed off @ 12:52 once we were let through by the 2 older men, Dad son and dog ahead of us we played in 4h10 with no issues.
Overall a very nice enjoyable day out on a decent, not tricked up with some daft "signature hole" proper well kept golf course.

Played on 3/7 and overall a good experience. It was my first time there since the rennovations. The Non-Hall county resident fee is a bit pricey in my opinion. Probably will not go back without some type of coupon or a LMTT deal. Oh and by the way the previous reviewer stated it was a 27 hole layout. Its only 18 i think he was playing somewhere else. Maybe Chicopee?

Played last 2 days at the hooch and loved it...the greens are fast and true. The course is in very good shape for winter. Great bunkers with pure white sand. Good food and very nice staff and cart girls! Very fun course!
It was a great day at Chattahoochee. The greens are in excellent shape and rolling true. A couple of the tee boxes are a little close to the previous green - making the approach shots a little extra intimidating - and maybe dangerous. Overall it's worth the drive to play.
What a fun course.Greens are rolling very fast. You will want to be below the hole. Was a little wet in spots which caused some thin lies.Bunkers are in great condition with lots of sand.Best greens I have played this year. Will be back for sure.
FIRST TIME PLAYING THIS RENOVATED COURSE. HAD A LMTT TEE TIME FOR 8:28 ON WED.31,2008. IT WAS WINDY AND WE ALWAYS SEEMED TO BE HITTING INTO IT. SEVERAL STROKES FOR MOTHER NATURE! THE COURSE IS IN SPECTACULAR SHAPE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. WE NOTICED THE REMOVAL OF A COLUMN OF TREES THAT BORDERED THE OLD #2,AND THE FILL IN OF THE POND ON ONE OTHER HOLE. I GUESS YOU ONLY REMEMBER WHAT COST YOU STROKES IN THE PAST!THE NEW CART PATHS ARE WIDER AND HELPFUL! TEE BOXES WERE FINE.THE FAIRWAYS PROVIDED A GENEROUS LANDING AREA. THEY WERE FIRM,WITH A FEW SLOPED RIGHT TO LEFT.THE BUNKERS WERE CLEAN AND FILLED WITH SOFT SAND.THE GREENS ARE "OUTSTANDING",EVEN THE PRACTICE ONES.THEY WERE FIRM AND PUTTING VERY FAST. APPROACHES WERE NOT BITING BUT RELEASING.AS WE APPROACHED HOLE #9,WE NOTICED A GROUP OF GOLFERS SCATTERING OFF-SOME TO THE FRONT 9,OTHERS TO THE BACK 9.IT HAD TO BE A SHOTGUN START.WE NEVER QUESTIONED IT,BECAUSE THEY DID NOT INTERFERE WITH THOSE ALREADY ON THE COURSE OR PACE OF PLAY. A JOB WELL DONE IN ACCOMMODATING ALL GOLFERS!!WE WERE A TWO SOME AND FINISHED IN 3:45 MINS.. A WELL MAINTAINED COURSE WITH GREAT IMPROVEMENTS AND A FRIENDLY STAFF,EQUALS AN ENJOYABLE ROUND.PUT THIS COURSE ON YOUR"MUST PLAY"LIST.

I've played this course 2 times in the last month and have enjoyed it so much I'm going to keep going back. It is a bit of a drive from where I live but the course layout is great, fairways, tees and greens are in great shape and soft enough to get some shots close which is nice. The cart girl has done a great job and we have seen her a couple times on both the front and back. Course is never overcrowded and the folks in the pro shop have been great. It is a good course for anyone - scratch to high handicapper. Enjoy.

Overall I thought that this was a very good course, especially for the money. The tee boxs were good (didn't notice that hardness mentioned earlier) and the greens were also in good shape. Played it on Sun the 9th and intend to play it tomorrow as well. Saw the cart girl twice which I think is plenty cause I can always grab something on the turn, so all in all recomended.

Played Sun 8/10/08 in the morning. The course was in good shape, tee to green. Some of the tee boxes were as hard as nails (as mentioned in previous post). Pace of play was good and the Cart girl came around 2/3 times. Overall, I would recommend it. Good value for the $$ with the $39 Sunday AM rate.
The $21.50 twilight rate is the best deal around. Only complaint is that there were only 2 water station on the entire course. This could be a real problem during the hot summer months. I know they are wanting to sell beverages from the cart, but that services stops around 5 pm or so.

Visiting family and played on July 4 at mid morning. Course was crowded and pace was a little slow, but that was mainly the group directly in front of us that played too slow. This is a good layout with many open fairways and a couple of par fives that are reachable. Greens rolled very true and bunkers were in great condition. Tees need some water because it was really tough to get pegs in the ground. Because of holiday had to pay full rate, but that was acceptable for the quality of the course. Cart girl made her rounds in good time and was very friendly.

The new course layout is great. It took us about 4 and 1/2 hours to play on a very crowded day. The twilight rate of $21.50 is a deal. The fairways were in good condition. Some of the greens were a little bumpy due to some recent aeration. The course definitely needs more water coolers for the summer months. We saw the drink girl once on the front nine and the clubhouse restaurant was closed at the turn. I would suggest bringing some beverages if it's allowed (not sure). Overall, a fun round of golf. If playing the twilight again, I will try to tee off by 4:00 to assure that we can complete the round, as it was crowded.
We played Sunday June 8 and the course was very crowded. We started out as a twosome and the overly agressive marshal decided to put us together with the twosome from in front. Unfortunately he left the four twosomes behind us alone and they kept hitting into us all day. BIG TURNOFF combined with the 5:45 minutes to play makes it unacceptable. The couse is a great layout and the reworking of the greens has kept them some of N. Atlanta's best. I never saw a beverage cart and there are no water jugs after hole 11 I believe, a problem on a 96 degree day. The fairways are wide and forgiving and they have removed most of the water hazards. Fairly easy course. With the combination of poor management of pace of play and arbitrary marshal's descision I was very disappointed.
I played this course on May 10th. The course was a lot of fun. The fairways were pretty wide so you could really "grip it & rip it". The green rolled out fast and true. Even playing as a twosome we didn't hit slow play. I hadn't played here in about 16 years and I will make sure that doesn't happen again
