These two golf courses, both Legacy and Fox Creek have steadily been run into the ground over the last 10 years, poor course conditions, litter everywhere, disgusting restrooms, complete lack of services. There always seems to be a lack of management presence and Pro Shop staff are merely cashiers with little or no golf knowledge. It's a shame as 20 years ago, these courses were wonderful with great service and conditions. My last round of golf ended up in a trip to the emergency room as my son was raking a bunker and had gotten lots of fiberglass splinters in his hand from using cracked and splintered rakes- just another lack of attention to detail by this facility. I'll never go back to these courses even though they are very close to my home.
Course is in overall good condition. They started their Big Break contest again at 7pm on Thursdays. 10$ entry fee. Fun to do.

I had the opportunity to play legacy on Monday the 9th of March. I needed a practive round before upcoming tournament. It's a great short course for walking and getting your short game together. My partner left his driver in the car. You don't need it. The greens were very bumpy and the grass is not consistent on all the greens. However, if you want to tune up your wedges and short irons it's worth it.

Legacy is a short course consisting of 14 par 3's and only 4 par 4's. The greens are a soft, slow, bent-grass, and they seemed to have a few unrepaired ball marks, so putts were a little bumpy. The par 3's are all short, with the longest one just over 150 yards, and they got a little monotonous on the front nine because it seemed like many of the holes were very similar. The par 4's are short and reachable from the tees, but they are a little tight, and without a straight drive, it's easy to get in trouble. Legacy has a lighted driving range, and a decent chipping area. The course is a good walker if you want to practice one evening after work for the weekend round.

WOW, BT. You need to re-evaluate the Atlanta golf market if you think paying $26 to walk a glorified par three course is a great value.
I did the $300 ($25/month) annual pass for one year but could not stand the length of the course and ended up playing Fox Creek 90% of the year because of the lack of distance on Legacy.
You paid $1 more than my entire month of golf at Legacy.
If you think you got such a great deal, go ahead and get the yearly pass which may be $350 now.
Its probably worth doing once especially if you're a 15 or above and need work on short game.

Played course on 1/24/09. Very few golfers out there, played in 2:15 min, walking 18 for 26 bucks. Good course considering its an exec course. Lots of wedge and 9 iron shots. Par 4's reachable with drive. Risk reward with those holes. Greens were decent.

I played this course last week and loved it. Im not sure what the guy who commented below me was talking about. I thought that Legacy was an excellent deal. One of my clients suggested playing there so we met and played a round in just under 3 hours. I was very impressed with the practice facility and the course. All the holes set up very nice and it was great practice for my short irons. The greens were in good shape and the course played better than any executive course I have ever played. Service was excellent and the overall atmosphere was very friendly. I highly recommend this course to anyone, especially if you don't have the time to practice your game every day. The course is very forgiving and you can enjoy a solid round even if you are not an avid golfer.

A waste of time and money. Absolutly the worst golf experience ever. Very slow pace, singles playing behind foursomes, walkers, walk ups, no Marshall to keep things moving. We had Groundskeepers in the way on every green yet the course conditions were horrible!! Go to Charlie Yates instead.

A great course for tuning up your short game. It is also a good value. The course is in relatively good shape but needs to update their bunkers... otherwise they may as well just take them off the course.

This is a great course for beginners or anyone who is trying to attempting to working on their short game. Most of the holes are shorter than most par 3's at a non-executive course, but the greens and fairways are in nice condition most of the time. The layout on certain holes leaves you ducking from stray balls hit from adjacent tee boxes. Its fun for the most part, cheap, and local. I reccomend it, but make sure you get a tee time because after 1 or 2 they get very busy
