What a gorgeous day Nov. 8, sunny, 17 degrees high with light winds, a perfect day for golf. Joined up with 3 others and played from the white tees. Played the North and East courses (6,000 yards/68.0/121 rating). Carlisle is not a difficult track and I normally play from the blue or black tees. Conditions were normal for this late fall season with winterized fairways and greens. We did have to move the ball to avoid the plugs on the fairways but the greens were quite puttable. Cartgirl was around 3-4 times and the staff were all pleasant. Had a great day with 3 others who also enjoyed a remarkably super day in November!

Played Oct 29 on RF special; can't complain about cost. Conditions generally wet; didn't play very well, especially first time here. Layout not particularly difficult nor scenic; fairways generous; greens readable and speed moderate. Fairways were aerated not too long ago; uneven, with a lot of plugs in the adjacent rough. Would like to play again mid-season.
Fall golf is here and thank goodness the sun is still shining bringing a little warmth to the course. Lost a few balls today thanks to the leaves and a few bad bounces. Overall I enjoy playing Carlisle its an easy walking course with a variety of different holes to test your ball striking abilities. If you are able to move the ball left to right you will score well at Carlisle. Pay attention to the escarpment since its influence will be felt on the greens. May the good weather hold on so we can enjoy golfing beyond to November. Enjoy.
Played this morning in the rain. We were late getting to the course and they were nice enough to let us still play. Because of thecrain, we stopped and had an amazing breafast that was reasonably priced. When booking a tee time, check the kaneef email club and check to see if the weekly deal is better than the last minute deal.
The course was in great shape considering the time of the year and weather conditions. The greens were fast and rolled true and only had a few divots that were not fixed. The divots crew and golfrs also did a fantastic job of fixing and filling in the fairway divots.
The only problem with the course is that there could be more yardage markets on the sprinkler heads. A few of them had yards, but for the most part there was no info.
If you are going to play here, you have to play the north and south course. These have the most interesting and challenging holes of the three nines.

Slow greens. Couple of silly holes. East course is poorly marked for yardage. Not a fan of this one. Only play here if I can't get out anywhere else locally or if buddies want to go here.
I's great to see the Kaneff courses on LMG. It really opens up the door to great savings on course that I would otherwise be unable to afford. Carlisle is a good track for your LMG buck with 27 holes of charming greenery to navigate your golf ball through. I truly enjoyed my day at Carlisle even after losing my golf ball in the woods on the dreaded dogleg par 5 6th hole but a birdie on number 7 made up for the bogey on 6. Note allow for grandpa's old pajamas (one ball out to the left)when putting on these greens since the escarpment does influence the break on these greens.
Played our company gold tournament at Carisle on Monday and was extremely impressed. The course was in great shape and the buffet afterwards was incredible. I have played this course off and on over the last few years and it has always been in great shape.
The bunkers were nice and soft and the greens rolled true. The only complaint I have with Carlise is that some of pars threes lack character. For the most part, the course has a great layout and fantastic looking risk / reward golf holes.
