LMG has made another gem of a course affordable to the average golfer. I've played Millcroft more times this year than all the previous years combined and I fined it a true deliight to play. I highly recommend Millcroft and although the yardage seems slight this little cat can show some mighty claws if you take her lightly. Come out and enjoy the fall specials it will be fun.

Played this course today in what I would say are as close to British Open conditions as you will play.Full wind ,overcast and threat of downpour. My favourite type of golf ,having never played this course before I didn,t know what to expect.I showed up at 3:00pm and played for 25$ no one behind me no one in front, found the course to be in great shape the fairways are plush, the greens are large undulating and fast.Having just played Tyandaga the day before I found this course to be more of a true golf course,no gimicky holes. This will test your course management skills(proper club selection when to know maybe I should lay up)That being said great little course.

I played "Millcroft" again today and I was paired with a brand new LMG member Brian, who just joined on Sunday.Today was a different golf day ... with having the knowledge from yesterday's round I attacked various holes differently today. I birdied the hardest par 5 and par 4 today, that was exciting! This course although winds through a subdivision don't think it is a walk-over. The greens were very quick again today but I was prepared and managed to sink a couple VERY long putts. The grounds crew has done an outstanding job with keeping the greens litter free and it was very hard to find a ball mark. Due to the frost delay, and a bit of a back up on the front 9 they sent us out the back 9. We played in an hour and 15 min. To me I have found a gem of a course so close to home!!!

We played "Millcroft" today for the first time on a "LMG Red Flag Special Day". Upon arriving early we were shown the tee blocks...also being waved on through on 3rd hole from what I am sure were members. I agree with previous post this course isnt long but has some challenging holes, some I will play differently when I return tomorrow. The greens were very fast so approach shots rolled quite far. The fairways were very plush and green. The bunkers were well groomed but a few were wet from the rain and the sand was hard. All the staff we came in contact with were extremely friendly and professional. I found "Millcroft" an enjoyable course to play and close to home if I don't feel like driving too far.

This was my first time playing at milcroft. was quite impressed , not a long course which i liked as i don't really bomb it off the tee , but if you do you will be rewarded with a lot of birdie opportunites with a short approch , a lot of the holes you don't even need driver , course demands accuracy , i liked the layout. maybe too many par 3's ( 7 ) but all in all , great track , and had a great time. the price was really good too , $39 each with cart. course was in good condition.

This course, cut amongst a subdivision of very nice houses, reminds me greatly of playing at a Florida country club since the course is in such great condition and you spend the entire round wandering amongst the back yards of large, beautiful houses. The course doesn't play exceptionally tight due to the houses either despite what a lot of people say. It's a short but very interesting layout with several very good golf holes and lots of great scenery. The par 5s play under 500 yards but they're 3 shot holes because of the tenacious layout of bunkers and ponds. They make you think out there. So much better than straight back and forth holes! The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Fees were very competitive for the area. I will definitely be back. Bravo!

Unless you drive it dead straight, leave the driver in the bag ( even then you may run out of fairway). Greens were very firm - you could hear that "drum" noise from 100yds -medium speed and very true. A pleasant if not very challenging course. The people are very nice and the club house is exceptionally clean. The location is great if you live in the Oakville / Burlington area and the LMG rate provides excellent value. We'll play here again!

Shortish on paper but you have to play it to appreciate it. Stay straight down the middle or pay the price. Played Sept 3/09 and the course was in great shape. Very good value for the LMG dollar.
Played here for the first time in years and I must say it's a pretty good course for the LMG rate. Pace of play was fantastic and we finished in 3h30min. There's no driving range so don't expect to hit some balls before you go off.
If you hit your driver 250-275 yards you will only need to use it a few times. Some of the fairways are tight but the course doesn't have that many hazards which is nice. Houses come into play more on the back 9 so keep that in mind!
Most of the tee boxes were fairly level, and the greens were average speed in good condition. The weakest aspect of the course is the bunkering; many of them having very little sand.
Don't let the 5672 yards fool you into thinking you have a pushover golf course. The design through the residential area with well placed bunkers and doglegs and small hard greens will prove a challenge indeed. Good course management can help you post a low score but beware the lurking double bogeys that can have you posting scores into the 90's. Great track for the LMG community to enjoy.
Millcroft is a great track IMO. Not too far away from my house, and the course conditions are usually always in pretty good shape. There was puddles in some of the bunkers and i actually lost 2 balls because i couldnt find them in the bunker! We got to the course early and they let us tee off earlier than usual since there was an opening. If you spray the ball alot, you might not like the houses that line some of the fairways and greens. Yes the course is pretty short from the blues 5672yds, but it is a par 70 course. A great hidden gem.
Played this neww addition to LMG today and really enjoyed the course. Don't be put off by the length. It is very important to place your shots or you can get in trouble. There are many bunkers to get yourself into and the wind also comes into play on many of the holes.
The par 3's are not to be taken lightly and seem to play a bit longer than the yardage due to the wind. Luckily I was paired up with a member and his tips proved to be quite useful. Go and give this course a try.

Played Millcroft this morning for the first time in a few years. It is a short course (5672 yds from the back (blue) tees, but has lots of sand traps strategically placed to provide a challenge. Unfortunately today, after the recent rains, many of these traps were small ponds and even a lateral move to a merely muddy part wasn't great. Other than that the course layout is nice, winding its way through this Burlington subdivision. It is fairly open, especially if you avoid all the back yards lining most fairways. Both greens and fairways were in good shape even if a bit soft with all the recent rain.
Service was fine, friendly check-in; saw the marshall a few times and the cart girl two or three times. Pace of play was reasonable at just under 4 1/2 hours for a Saturday starting a bit after 8:30. I even got started early as they juggled around some twosomes and sent us out as three finishing before the next round of rain.
In all, a great value at under $60 at the LMG rate and handy to where I live. A very welcome addition to the LMG family!
