We played last weekend; holes 1 -18. The greens have not healed from aeriation but considering this is November golf the course is in unbelievable condition and the leaves were not a issue. For anyone who has not played this course, the cost is very low right now so there is no excuse not to try it. But, be sure to pay a little more next season and enjoy the course in the summer! No one will ever play this course just once!

This is a must play course. The greens are country club level play. One of the best in South East Michigan. I highly recommend this one.

Greens were rolling unbelievable! This was a great round of golf, never waited on a tee box to hit. The course in all was in great condition, fairways were rolling good, greens were fantastic, service was good. Couldnt think of a bad thing to say about the experience yesterday.

A little pricey, but a great course. It has an up North feel, and you don't see other golfers or other holes. Clubhouse and service is top notch. A very enjoyable experience.

Always a treat to play this course. Never been disappointed in the pace of play or conditions. Very fair course; rewarded for good shots & penalized for the bad ones. Usually will see deer or some other kind of wildlife. Staff is very friendly & helpful.

This is the second time I played here the first was 2 years ago and I have to say that I was very impressed with the course conditions now as even more then before. The recession might have hurt a lot of courses in terms of quality but this one has only improved. Great service, conditions were excellent except for golfer made, I was doing some repair work for others it seemed like on every hole... guys we need to replace our own divots and fix our own marks.
My only complaint for the course is that their is not a pop machine at the ninth hole bathroom, pretty parched if you have an early T time and forget to bring extra water. Greens and pin positions were true and fair, slightly on the slow side compared with the Grande.
This is well worth the 1 hour drive from Toledo as each hole is scenic and secluded, we saw 5 deer on our round and a few birdies ;-)
We played this course on August 12 on a red flag deal and I cashed in my yards so the end price was 21 bucks a guy. The whole time we were out on the course we could not believe that the price we paid was so low we all agreed that it was a course we would have dropped 50 to 70 bucks to play. Love the fact that each hole is it's own entity and coming from Windsor it is such a rarity to play a course that has elevation which add to the beauty of the course. The greens were true, the fairways were in great shape as were the tee boxes the only thing that bugged me where the fact the traps have plenty of pebbles in them and they end up on the green as one got in the way of a putt that looked liked it wanted to drop. I will definately play this course again probably make a day of it and play all 27 holes.
Great course! Carts with GPS that give you distances to the green, drive distances, pace of play, etc. Fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. There was a light to moderate ground fog this morning and fairways and greens were a bit wet, but the greens were f-a-s-s-t anyway. Played all 27 holes and 19-27 really makes you feel like you are far from civilization. Good selection of goods in the pro shop, food service was surprising in that you ordered hot dogs that were cooked to order - not twirling on some roaster rack for who knows how long - great touch with a minimal wait. Tip: play before 8 am M-Th and ask for the special rate (unadvertised) of $29. This course is a bargain and a hlaf at that price!

The Majestic is AWESOME! Beautiful course in perfect condition. Love how there are no adjacent fairways and carts come standard with GPS. Long scenic drives between holes. Difficult track to play, but course is in such prime condition it doesn't matter. Would have liked to stop into the club house at the turn to grab a bite to eat, but it was about 2 miles away making that a non option.

I agree with a previous post where they said you forget you are near a freeway. This course has the feel of an up north-middle of nowhere type course. I really enjoyed my round and the staff there treats you like a country club member or a VIP. I would like to play again, as lack of knowledge of the course cost me a couple strokes on each side. Keep the ball in the fairway becuase there is only about 10 feet of rough in places, then the tall grasses come into play. That was frustrating at times, but my fault for hitting it there. Greens slick and true, bunkers in perfect shape, and fairways ran nicely. I have a hard time paying regular rate for the course, but get a good LMG price and check it out. For sure worth the play if you never have. If you start playing poorly, enjoy the course becuase the first few holes on the back don't offer any relief. Our GPS kept fading in and out (not sure if that is common or just our cart) so that didn't help at times. (played holes 1-18)
Have played this course as few times as it is close to my house. Sits just off of 23 but you would never know if when you are out there. Another great course that makes you lose track of where you are when you are out there. Kept in nice condition. Played here in the middle of October the day before my wedding and the Michigan fall colors were amazing. Another must play if you are in the area!

The Majestic at Lake Walden was bit of a disappointment. I finished a 36 hole stretch playing this and a nearby course, and although the price and reputation of the Majestic was higher, the quality and value was much less. The greens were slow. That is not something I remember at this course. Still a nice track, but not even close to worth the full price ($79 weekend). Even felt I overpaid with a LMG rate of $49.
Greens are in the best shape I have seen them. Course was in immaculate condition. Had a antime weekday and they were nice enough to take it on a Friday afternoon. I will be back!

I played with a friend on 5/15/09. I booked the tee time through LMG. I have played it twice so far this year. I played holes 19 through 9 the first time and 1 through 18 this time. This is a course that I try to play 5 or 6 times a year. I always enjoy my round there no matter what the score. This time was no different.
The course layout is straight forward with no blind shots. the course is spacious and playe saround Lake Waldon. It gives you an up north feel in lower Michigan. There is a margin of forgiveness on most of the holes. Wayward shots will pay a price. The course has grown in nicely throughout the spring. The fairways and greens are in great shape. The greens roll true. I recommend this course to everyone I talk golf with. Most have played it already. Enjoy you round when you play.

Played The Majestic yesterday on Memorial Day with and my son and it was my first time playing the course. The course was in good condition greens a little bumpy, but still in good condition. We played holes 1-18 and loved some of then scenic pictures we took. Course was very fair, must keep the ball in the fairway to score well. The GPS on the carts helps a lot and seemed very very accurate. The pin placement on the score car was right on as well. Got a great price for a holiday and would love to come back and try the other 9 holes sometime. I recommend this course to many, I drove just over an hour to get here and should be back sometime this summer. Enjoy your round, thanks LMG.

Played the course on my birthday in May it was in awesome shape and the greens were beautiful. The GPS was consistantly wrong but once you realized it you could adjust to it. Got a great call in deal off the radio of $20.00 per person. The one downfall is you dont pass the clubhouse after leaving the first tee and they dont warn you....so if your thirsty or hungry you wont get anything unless you brought it with you. Other than that it was a beautiful course and i will play it again soon.
Played Majestic for the first time yesterday and thought it was a very nice layout-challenging but still fairly forgiving off the tee. The only issue I had was that the greens were very bumpy due to a recent aeration. In a few weeks the course should be in excellent shape!
Course gives you the up-north feeling. Lay-out is awesome except for a par 4 on the last 9 which dictate a 175 yard drive. Great spring rate of $35 for 18.

Steve, Bill and their staff treat every golfer like a member, and then some.
A definate must play for golfers of every caliber. Oh, and don't forget to save time to play the 9 across the street after your first 18...it's a beautiful track!

The Majestic is a very challenging and interesting golf course. Difficult for 1st time players. This was my third time out, and I finally have a feel for many of the distances. GPS helps a lot, but many holes require thought about what distance you want to hit off the tee. Left my Driver in the bag on many holes. In wonderful condition. The greens were quick and rolled true. Course gets a little pricey in the middle of the summer, but is very reasonable and a great value if you catch it in the spring or fall. I will be back!
ONE OF THE IF NOT THE BEST COURSE IN SE MICHIGAN. VERY CHALLENGING FROM THE TIPS. WOULD DEFINITELY PLAY THIS COURSE OVER AND OVER AGAIN

One of my favorite courses in Southeast Michigan. The course is well kept and has some terrific views. It has a very up north feel to the course as it winds thru woods and wetlands. Get a early tee time and pace of play is no problem.
Hands down, my favorite course in S.E. Michigan. Fun and challenging layout with some incredible views. Course is very well maintained and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Hope you're hitting straight off most tees.
