Beautiful scenery. This was a summer excursion with rains, so my expectations were not as high, but great returns. Saw variuos possible troubles in the greens; expremely hard to maintain 2 putts or under on each green. Love the layout. Two thumbs up!

Played the course for the first time on 5/19. It was a little windy, so it was a challengeeven from the blue tees. Would not want to play from the golds under the same conditions. Course was in great shape. Greens are really challenging with a lot of slope and undulations. I don't think there is a flat putt out there.
Played 18 on Mother's Day.. It was worthy that our brave 8 players were satisfied with the course layout and condition. This course is a definately upscale course, likely resort style course in SC, NC, I would not try to compare this with local courses. May compete with Little Mountain, if they are closer. Tip for the money saving! 1. Go with your all group as many as possible, the course is located on New Phil. 2. I would not take advanced rate tee time that is the same rate as the course rate. Then you pay $1.25 extra because you must pay the LMG booking fee. 3. Last minute rate(pre-paid) saves you $4.75/player compared to a regular golfer, as far as current tee-time posting (after 2:00PM everyday). It would be better if early morning tee-times available that may save you $14.75)
good course to play I found a few holes challenging but very nice playability

I recently played Oak Shadows for the first time and was very happy that I did. My father and I live in Pittsburgh and having played the majority of courses in the area have recently looked for new places to play. While at the Pittsburgh Golf Show we came across a booth for Oak Shadows. Seeing the pictures of the course we both decided that this was on out list of "new to try". For being in mid-April the course was in amazing condition. The course is a very hard test for even the best of golfers on a normal day. Add in the hurricane force wind the day we played and you get one heck of a golf course. Would recommend to anyone who is interested.

Played on 4/11 for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised. Nice layout and in great early spring condition (pretty wet and soft though). Wouldn't want to play again on a windy day like I did as it feels like a huricane on about 16 holes down in the valley.
as im a new golfer I really liked the par 5 there especially all the open space and the few shots from hills. Has a great view from most points high up. I recommend it very nice place to golf.
