For the price, this is a great course. Nice layout,great service,great course condition,and really good food in the clubhouse(Chicken Philly) Just wished I lived closer, so I could play more.

This course played very well. When we showed up everything looked great, but once we got on the course the sand traps were awful. It was like they were never raked, ever. They need to put new sand into all the traps ASAP. Other than the terrible, terrible sand traps the overall course was great and I will play it again and again.
Tee boxes in good shape. Fairways in great conditions, a lot of roll. Greens still healing from aeration. Putts were definitely affected by aerating but it's got to be done. Tee time 4pm and played slow behind several groups (pre holiday crowd). Service was great! Cart girl came around 5 times keep in mind we started at 4pm. I did not expect to see the cart person after 5pm. We had a great round and Reunion as always surpassed expectation in the service area. Folks in the club house / golf shop are great too!

The Greens were in great shape and played very true. However, they were a quite a bit slower than the practice green and it took several holes to adjust. Pin position was excellent making virtually green challenging.
Fairways were in very good shape. The fact that it hasn't rained in a week has just begun to show.
Saw the drink cart girl at least 5 times (even when it was thundering pretty good and we were afaid that play was going to be called).
Only complaint was that they closed the pro shop, cafeteria, and rest rooms for a private party at 3:30.

My Rating says it all. There is no better course to play then Reunion. Especially when you book with LMTT! Then it gets a perfect 5.
A bit new to golf, so I don't have a tremedously experienced reveiw. I thought this was a great course to play. Beautifully maintained. Plenty of elevation change with rolling hills throughout. A couple of blind shots. Overall I really enjoyed playing here and shot one my best games yet! I will definitely play here again, as it isn't too far from me and was a great value!
Greens were in great shape but there are a few ball marks that folks didn't choose to fix.
The layout is difficult but fair with no goofy holes. There are a couple of holes with somewhat blind tee shots that make knowing the course helpful.
The fairways were mowed to the appropriate height and the tee boxes were in good shape as well.
The practice facilities are nice as well with several targets, a putting green and chipping/sand area all conveniently located to the pro shop and first tee. Service in the clubhouse is good and saw the cart girl twice.
Overall a great value for what you get.

Hadn't been out to Reunion for several years-a bit far from Sandy Springs, but it was just as I remember. Great course and fun to play. Wish it was closer in- maybe were Heritage is. Great value.

I played here today with a group of guys I work with and we found this course to be in great shape. I concur 100% with many of the previous reviews that some local knowledge of this course is very helpful. We used the tips from the website and found them to be very helpful. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape and the greens were rolling very true and with a good pace. All the greens would hold an approach shot. To me every course superintendent should take a looks at the sand traps on this course……These traps are what sand traps are supposed to look and play like. The perfect risk and reward on a course, if you get in the trap, and you play it the way you are suppose to, you will be rewarded, if you don’t play it right……you might have a longer day on this track, because there are lots and lots of traps here. Many of the holes on this course will have the longer hitters reaching for 3 wood, 5 wood and even a long iron off the tee, so like a previous review, be prepared to use ever club in the bag. The service from the club house, to the starters and marshals and the cart girl was outstanding. The course was very crowded today because of a problem with on line bookings, “This is what we were told by one of the marshals”, and at times played slowed down a little, but overall the round only took slightly over 4 ½ hours. This is a tough course, but very fair and I look forward to returning soon to take another shot at this course. Take the drive out, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Great course! This is the first time playing this season. The course is in great shape with the exception of some tee boxes. Greens are rolling true. You need some course knowledge especcially off the tee because on some holes, placement is much more important that length. Plan on using every club and a variety of shots when you play here.
played here 05/29/09. as always the staff was nice and helpful. there is a small putting green and chipping green along with a driving range that has various targets to hit at.
overall course conditions and good. you will have to use every club in your bag. there are many blind shots, forced carries and doglegs. like a previous poster stated you will not come around the clubhouse at the turn but there is a place where you can use the restrooms and get some refreshments. you will actually pass it after the 8th and 12th holes.
the cart girl came around 3 times and there are coolers it seems at every 2 - holes.
i will always come back!

Played this course on Friday, May 29, and it was in good all around shape. Greens were good and so were the fairways. The only complaint with course condition would be a few teeboxes (especially par 3's.)
I saw the cart girl at least 3 times during the round. For those of you who have never played this course before you need to know that you don't go back to the clubhouse (or parking lot) at the turn. There is a stopping point after #8 where you can get drinks and food.
I will play this course again for the lmtt price. Good value.

This course has a great layout; challenging enough to test the low handicappers with excellent par 3 holes, yet highly enjoyable for higher handicappers who want to simply experience a great round of golf.
The service and amenities were decent. I saw the cart girl once during my round, but given the fact there are water coolers every three holes, it wasn't much of a problem.
The condition was excellent! I paid 30 dollars for 8:00am round, and this is probably one of the best values in Georgia (probably much better than Bear's Best and Chateau Elan).
I will definitely come again, and you should do the same as well!

Played Saturday, second time playing this course. Knowing the layout is definitely a plus, that being said I really think it's a great layout you have to think your shots through to score well. Despite the rain surprisingly it was 90 degrees. The only complaint I would have is the speed of the greens, slow slow slow. Really made a difference is reading the greens and trying to figure out the speed. I'll definitely play here again.

No issue with his opinion, b/c I thought the same thing about the course the 1st few times I played it, but I've come to appreciate the layout a lot more in recent years.
That said, you do need to play the course a few times to get a feel for what the designer was thinking. The two back-to-back par 4 holes with water in front of the green are not driver holes for most players hitting it 250+.
If you play to the corner of the dogleg with a long iron or hybrid you still have a short iron in. They're easy holes holes if you play them as they're designed to be played. #18 is simply a 3 shot hole...even for good players. It does tighten up a lot you if you try to get inside 125 yds for your approach. Play just past the 150 marker with your second, hit the correct side of the ridge with your 3rd and you've got a decent look @ birdie. Very tough 4, not so tough 5 hole.
Greens are still slower than normal (maybe running at 9 now), but they appear to be bringing them down. Rest of the coursde is in great shape.

I had a good time playing this course. The conditions were really good, tees fairways and greens. Service was very good as I was a single who the shop paired me with a threesome. My only low rating was the layout. Front is a good mix of long and short, but they have small ponds on 3? of the shorter holes to force a lay up. The back is a different story with trouble in the landing areas of tee shots. And 18 seems almost unplayable. All in all a good value and I will play again at the right price.

Played on Friday 5/15. $55 through LMG. This was my first time playing this great course and I thoroughly enjoyed my round there. I was a single and got paired with 3 gentlemen who knew their way around the course very well. That was a huge plus.
The layout is awesome. Lots of natural beauty. The greens were definitely slowish as other posters have stated, but the entire course from tee to green is fully grown in and very well manicured. Every staff member I encountered was courteous. Especially the rangers who do actively patrol the course to ensure a swift pace of play, which on the day I played was excellent. I will definitely be back.

Played 5/16 at a full rack rate of $70. Guys...I think when players are spending upwards of $50 to play golf, a small bag of ranges balls should be included and not $5 extra. That said, course is in very good shape despite all the rain. Greens were a touch slower than normal, but rolled true and were very smooth. I am told all the recent rains have made the grass grow more than normal and hold moisture, making the much slower. Seems the same all over town right now. Fairways are very plush, and the tee boxes are in good shape. Layout is one of the best in town and always provides a great challenge. Rangers were very accomodating to my dad who was running late. Put another foursome in our spot, and were helpful and pleasant in doing so on a busy Saturday morning. Thanks guys.

Played for the second time on Thursday 5/7 - will return again. For $37 on LMTT, this is a great deal, however, the course is a bit of a hike from downtown or the western suburbs.
Course was rather wet from prior rain, and given that it was cart path only, led to nearly a five hour round at 11:00 on a Thursday morning, which was less than ideal.
Overall, fairways and greens were plush and as green as anywhere I've been yet this season. However, echoing the comments of the prior reviewers, the greens were exceptionally slow. It was apparent it'd been multiple days since they'd been cut and/or rolled, and while they were in good condition, putting became challenging given their speed, or lack thereof.
very nice Golf Course, enjoyed playing Reunion.
