Drove 1:40 minutes Wed.7/8/09 to play for $24 through LMTT. It's been several years since I played here. The layout is challenging for all skill levels and offers many scenic views. Tee boxes and fairways were well manicured. Fairways provided generous landing areas. The strategically placed bunkers bordering the fairways and greens, tested your club selection and accuracy. The course was well marked with yardages on sprinkler heads and cart paths. The greens were very disappointing!! They were thin, had bare spots and a mix of grasses. Surprisingly, they were soft and receptive. Approach shots were holding within one putters length of the divot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Saw no beverage cart service. This is a well maintained facility whose greens need healing!!

This might have been the best dollar-for-dollar round of golf I've ever played.
I went with a group of 10 men total, and - WITHOUT REQUESTING IT - we were given the "passport" rate of, I think, $37.
The course is way, way out of town (even farther for me than Barnsley Gardens was), but is well worth the drive. The grounds are nice and in good shape. The workers are friendly and attentive. The cart "girl" was hands-down the best, the absolute best, I've ever had. She was friendly and talkative. She knew when to be quiet so we could take our shots (and when NOT to drive off :) ). It was like having a good friend serve me food and drink on the course. I was very impressed. I got the sense that she WANTED to work the cart and that the pay didn't matter, which, ironically, got her a bigger tip from me :).
The driving range is slightly unique, because it's just a huge, huge field. There are two rows of range tees something like 500 yards apart and just a huge field between. The range is actually grass, and nice grass at that. It was a perfect way to warm up before the round.
The practice green is huge, and although it only has 3 or 4 holes, there's plenty of room to putt around and get a feel for the greens.
The course was in immaculate condition, and we saw very few other players (we teed off at 10:30 on Saturday morning).
The tee boxes were all really nice. The fairways were great. The greens were pristine, their speed was consistent and they rolled true. The surroundings were beautiful, with a ton of nice houses lining the course.
What a nice course. What a fun day! It's rare that I'll rate a course 5 stars for every category, but it fits for this one. If you can make the drive (1 1/2 hours each way for me from Roswell), do it! I WILL be back!
great course but i will keep it short and sweet! greens run true course is in top shape. the layout is flawless. it provides challeng with lots of excitment and when ur having a bad day the scenery makes up for everything.well worth the money.

I have played this course for most of my life. The course condition varies depending on ownership. The greens have been in unsatisfactory shape for some time but they are getting better. The current management seems to be doing a good job at restoring the course to its best condition. The layout of this links style course is great and it offers a tough but very fair challenge at a great price.
what a awsome course. ive played all over the southeast and this could very well be one of my favorite courses. hole #9 is one of the most beautiful holes ive seen. the greens were very well takin care of and consistant. a must play again.
