Tried it one more time after several months and it's just not any better. I was a member a couple of years ago because the membership deal was actually pretty good. But these recent posts point out what the main problem of this course is: lousy management/customer service. That's what finally drove me away, along with the terrible course conditions that developed during my time there.
I was a member for a year and played a lot. NOT ONCE did the pro there ever say hello to me or acknowledge my existence in any way. He only had time for his cronies. The pro shop staff seemed to make stuff up as they went along, no consistency in pricing rounds for non members. I personally witnessed several errors while waiting to check in. The only friendly service I ever saw there was from the girls working the snack bar. When you go practically anywhere else and see the difference in a well-run course, it's a wonder this place is still open.

I'll continue to play this course on occasion simply because you can find cheaper tee times. But for the money, there are better courses out there. They actually got a little upset my last round there because I used one of their own coupons for "cart fee only". Even though they didn't ask, apparently I failed to tell them when I made the tee time...They still made more money from me using the coupon than if I had just rolled up and paid the same day for the twilight rate. Moral of the story: you may be better off not even using one of the course's own published coupons.

Not good. What upset me the most is that the course conditions listed by the golf course on lmtt.com says "PGA Quality Greens"... No way!! The greens are horrible.
Course is in horrible shape. The greens still have not recovered from a recent aeration. The 18th still has construction in process. The tee boxes needed cutting. On a positive note, I paid squat thanks to LMG and the service was great. Overall this course is not evern worth the $20 I paid. I would give them a F-.

I keep going back to this course hoping against hope the it will be better the net time I go. Especially since it is so close to me.
But, once again I am disappointed. It is just not maintained very well at all and the greens are almost always in awful shape..
Come on guys get it fixed

Played July 3rd, the course overall is in better shape than I have seen it in a number of years. That being said, I have to agree with previous posts about the greens, they are very slow on the back 9 and erratic on the front. The greens are very fuzzy and and a number of them are actually covered in sand?? Several tee boxes are in bad shape and could use some over seeding, just like a number of the fairways on the back 9. For the price I paid at $25 it's not bad, but I would have been a little upset if I had paid the full rate at $48 for the overall condition. For the full rate they charge here this course should be in much better shape than it is in currently. The staff could also act like they appreciate the business, instead acting like it's a bother to even help you. I will more than likely not play here again anytime soon.
The course is in great condition for where it was just a few years ago. Plays very short but #18 is still in bad shape. Weeds make up the entire fairway. The greens on the back roll much much slower than the greens on the front. For paying less than $30, its a decent value. Its close and cheap. If you are paying more than $35, don't play here.

Played this course on 6/29...first time in about 2 years. Figure, since I only live 5 mins away, I would go back even though the course has been pretty rough in the past. I played a twilight round starting at 4:30pm, payed $27 and got a bucket of range balls. 1) Range needs work. No distance markers, range grass was in horrible shape, so you'll definitely be forced to range off the mats. 2) Course - No markers out on the course at all. Good luck in trying to figure out how far you are from the hole. Fairways are ok, but does need some work. Don't even try to play #18 because there is "no fairway"...just weeds from tee to the green 3) Greens - If you believe like I do that the difference between shooting an 80 vs 90 is your putting, then don't even bother putting here. I've seen fairways on other courses look better than the greens here. You'll have to put some "umpphh" into every put just to get it to the hole, trying to get past all the bumps and thickness of the greens. 4) Service - Most disappointed with this. We were on #17 around 8:00pm and the sun was still out. Midway through the hole, ranger comes up and says we have to finish the hole and leave. 5 minutes later while putting on #17, he returns and "yells" at us asking why we didn't listen to him. We told him that we were still finishing the hole. He apparently mistaken us for another group, yet no apologies.
Again, for the same amount of money, go to Apalachee, 5 minutes down the road and you'll have a good time.

This course is okay since they consistently post fees for under $30. The course could use a little work. It is great for a struggling golfer due to many short holds. It will teach you better aiming because it is so tight and if you are not in the fairway you are in trouble. I wish they would work on their yard markers. Several holds have no distance perception at all.

This course is not bad for a muni. Though its not very long, it does provide some what of a challenge. Especially #2, if you hit even a small draw your in trouble as the fairway tilts from right to left very hard. The bermuda greens are a better choice than the bent grass they used to have. The price however is a little steep, there are better courses to play for the same or even less.

I've played here for years, and I think this is the best this course has been. The greens are VERY SLOW, but roll true and are in great shape. I also found the fairways to be in excellent condition except for 14 & the construction on 18. The layout is always challenging with many blind shots and each hole having different challenges. I played on a Saturday morning and was done in less than 4 hours.
The service was fine, although one girl was trying to work the pro shop AND make sandwiches. She was very nice, but one person can only do so much.
The range is not in very good shape and the chipping area is limited, but the putting green is good (and slow).
I get the feeling this club is not doing a lot of business and so staffing has been cut down, but I think the course was fun and once you get used to hitting the putts hard enough, the roll very true. Compared to some other places, I feel this is a very good round of golf, although I do agree the price is a little steep (although they gave us free hotdogs!).

Played Saturday a couple weeks ago on the idea that they were going to have a robot to test your clubs. Well there was no robot and no left handed clubs to test either. So when we finally got to play it was slooow. A fivesome was allowed to get started later told to break up, and I must say there was no consistency to the greens. I have played here before and enjoyed the course but this time even with all the rain it was like putting on shag carpet. 18 is still broken up with construction. A nice course but can wait until they get it together.

Played on Sunday may 31st on a $28 tee time @ 2pm. would not ever pay full price for this course. The fairways were trimmed lower than the greens. They were SLOW and bumpy and hard to get a true roll on them. On a couple of the holes I hit great shots right down the middle of the fairway and would have been in better shape if I had played from the "rough." I would only recommend this course if you can't find anywhere else to play and you pay less than $30.
Went out on Saturday 05/30 in the mid morning, Had a Demo day out at the range for the new Powerbilt Air Force One, After hitting at the range a little, went to play a round. Very hot day, very crowded with the starter having to wait for the slower starters to get there rhythem. If I would have known it was going to be that busy I wouldnt have even played. Greens were in good shape and hole placment was good as well. The Course has many blind spots that if you get a good drive have a possibilty of hitting someone. For the Value I think you can find better

Went and Played with a buddy of mine on 04/10, Started out with a slight rain, made the greens easier to stay on than usual, Greens are pretty challenging due to pin location and not many flat greens, Most of the fairways were in good shape, Few were very wet and soggy, expected since it did rain, but all in all its a good course, Paid $28. for a 3:45 tee time, Good Value for the money

Played April 4, not in good condition. I know there had been a lot of rain, but it doesn't appear to be well maintained. Tee times were suggestions to the starter. We had a 9:00 time and finally teed off at 9:35. I had read about this starter being a "crotchety old guy" in other reviews posted here and the reviews aren't harsh enough. What a terrible shame he was the biggest impression to start the round.

Paid $20 to play after 5PM. Twosome ahead of me had no courtesy to let me play thru, I was by myself, but this happens all the time there. Got chased off at 7:15 to return my cart, still 1/2 hour of daylight left, and I only had 3 holes left, including a par 3. The course is in horrible condition, like playing on a brown parking lot. Employees more interested in going home, blame it on insurance. I live 1/4 mile away, and if it wasn't so damn convenient late in the day, I wouldn't bother. Don't wasste your money here on weekends, there are much better courses for less money w/in a 30 mile radius, that makes the drive worthwhile.

Ok, so I read and agree with some of the previous reviews. Yes, there is not a whole lot special about this course. this is not one that you will be going home saying, wow I have never seen that type hole before, or wow, those greens man where they in good shape. But for the $25 you pay during the week, and the 1.50 draft beer refills, you can atleast say, Hey I was not at work today, I had a few beers with friends and enjoyed my time on a course.
yes the sand boxes are empty or packed so hard it might as well be solid dirt, yes after a rain the course is like a swamp, but a bad day on a golf course is better than a good day at work anyday right....

I had read all of the reviews regarding this course and they all are true. The course could be so much better. There is really no need to bring your driver as many of the holes could be played with irons. The course seems to be on the backside of its potential. We played this course as a last minute deal. I felt that at $32.00 it was to expensive for what it provided. On hole 6 there was a Mitsubishi Galant driving down the cart path which was interesting. We were behind a party of 6 that slowed us down and having a ranger/marshall would have been effective. The weather was bad the night before which caused the greens to be in worse shape. Although it looked as they the greens may be in rough shape anyway. I will make a point of it to not play there again. I will also recommend anyone reading this skips this course as well.
