Wow! What great value. We paid $24 for a Friday afternoon round. I challenge you to find a better value course in the Houston area. The course was in great shape and the layout provides something that most Houston courses can't offer - elevation change. Any Houston golfer should play this course.

I discovered this course two years ago and have added it to my list of "must play" courses. I play this course at least 2 of the 8 times that I play each month. It is very scenic with tree lined fairways, numerous lakes and creeks, on rolling terrain. Many man made feature (e.g. rock water falls) add to the beauty of this course. But don't be fooled by the surroundings, this is a tough course to play. My favorite hole is number 16 which is a 400+ yards par 4. You have to hit two GREAT shots it you want to get to the green in 2, or just layup and settle for a bogey. Prices are very reasonable and discounts are available on most days online. Food is also great. If you want a scenic course that is always well maintained and challenging check out Eagle Pointe. Depending where you live in Houston, might be a bit of a drive. About 35 miles from my home, but it is worth the drive.

This is a very scenic course. Tough holes with great elevation qualities. The greens are in good shape but need work. Club house personel are friendly and helpful.

The course has an excellent layout and you can not beat the value. The fairways and greens were good but could always be better.
