Played there recently for a charity tournament. Nice amenities and good greens, the practice facility was below average, but the grill was above average. Would return, fun course.

This course seems to be a hit and miss, I have played when in great shape, and also when the Greens were dry, Nice layout and plenty of room if you shank the ball, sometimes it can get busy.
Course in decent shape. I love the packages that come with breakfast and lunch. Staff is very friendly.

Maybe the maintanace was just under staffed or just had too much work, but the course was not well kept. The tee boxes were longer than the rough the time i was there. Maybe it was just a one time thing, but I was not impressed with the course.
Despite heavy rain during the week, the course was still in good condition. The sand traps were underwater but other than that, it was in good shape. This is a great value course (especially at twilight rates) and is more enjoyable than many other more expensive local courses. Good length to the course and plenty of trees, water and traps to keep it interesting and challenging. Well worth a visit.

Played Longwood on 9/5/08. Course always seems to be in great shape. The fairways are wide enough for "average" golfers, but the course set-up is challenging enough for low handicapers. The one thing I have noticed is that the people who work at this course are always very nice & accomodating. You can't go wrong playing Longwood
