LastMinuteGolfer gives you plenty of reasons to play more golf. As a LastMinuteGolfer member (click here to join), you automatically earn Frequent Golfer "yards" each time you book a qualifying round.  Redeem yards towards red flag rewards rounds or weekday golf passes at hundreds of golf courses.  Play more golf this year and earn big rewards!  See below for all the details.

Racking up the Yards (and miles!)
Earn yards every time you book a "last minute" or "advance" tee time or play in a LastMinuteGolfer member event. After you complete your round, yardage will automatically be deposited to your LastMinuteGolfer account. You'll also earn yards writing "credible" course reviews and rating golf course reviews that are posted by other golfers!  Check your yardage total any time in your profile. See the table below:

NOTE- Yards from tee times are deposited after your round.  Yards from course reviews are deposited at the end of each month. Please check your frequent golfer statement for your "pending" yards. To earn airline miles,  you must register your card prior to booking your tee times and/or purchasing your weekday anytime passes.

BONUSES
There are a lot of ways to earn yardage bonuses on LastMinuteGolfer.

• VIP Member Bonus- VIP members receive a 50% yardage bonus on all qualifying reservations.
   
• Local Market Bonuses- Local bonuses during certain periods. e.g.- double yards on a certain day of the week.
   
• Tee Time Alert Bonus- Configure tee time alerts and book tee times when you receive alerts.
   
• First Time Bonus- You'll earn a 50% yardage bonus on your first qualifying online reservation.
   
• Referral Bonus- Tell a friend about LastMinuteGolfer (easy) and earn 100 yards if your friend's first tee time reservation is prepaid ("last minute" or Red Flag Rewards round).
   
• Promotion Codes- Watch (and listen) around town for promotion codes. Enter them to rack up additional yards.
   
• Photo Upload/ Account Update Bonus- Upload a photo for your LMG Space and collect 50 yards.

"Base" yards are used to determine bonus levels each calendar year. You earn base yards when you join and when you book tee times.

REDEEMING YARDS (Weekday Passes and Red Flag Rewards)
Each time you purchase a LastMinuteGolfer Weekday Anytime Pass (good for golf and cart) or book a Red Flag Rewards tee time, you'll be given the option of redeeming some or all of your yards to get an even better value. The price you pay for your golf will immediately be adjusted each time you redeem yards. Yardage that you earn locally is valid in any of our markets, so rack up those yards and then hit the road to enjoy great rewards as you travel! You can start redeeming yards as soon as you have a minimum of 500 yards in your frequent golfer account.

Redeeming on Weekday Anytime Pass: (the most efficient use of your yards)  Yards are redeemed at $1 for every 33.3 yards that you redeem (a rate that is 50% better than redeeming yards towards Red Flag golf- see below)  You can start redeeming yards as soon as you have a minimum of 500 yards in your account. Subject to availability and while supplies last.   Example: Regular weekday rate at the course is $50. A 4-some would run $200.  Buying a LastMinuteGolfer 4-some, you start at the Last Minute rate, getting your price to $37.50 per player (a great value already!)  Your 4-some is $150.  During purchase, we'll give you the opportunity to redeem up to 2497 yards to save you 50% off of your total ($150)... getting your $200 Weekday Anytime Pass down to $75 (a savings of $125 (62.5%!). Take this opportunity to reward yourself with a weekday round of golf at your favorite LastMinuteGolfer course... or get one as a holiday gift for one of your golf buddies!

Redeeming on Red Flag Rewards Rounds Online: Yards are redeemed at $1 for every 50 yards that you redeem.  You can start redeeming yards as soon as you have a minimum of 500 yards in your account.   Example: If the posted rate for a Red Flag Rewards tee time is $50 and you book a 4-some, you'll pay $200.  During the reservation process, we'll give you the opportunity to redeem some or all of your frequent golfer yards (up to the full amount of the tee time!).  If, as in the Weekday Anytime Pass example above, you redeem roughly 2500 yards, this saves you $50 off (2500 yards at $1 per 50 yards) of your 4-some and you'd be able to book the 4-some for $150.

PENALTIES
If you book an advance tee time on LastMinuteGolfer (more than 24 hours out and not prepaid), be SURE to show up or take the time to cancel your tee time. If you no-show for an "Advance" tee time booked on this website, you will see a deduction of THREE times the yardage you would have earned. OUCH!  You're much better off taking the time to cancel your "advance" reservation to free up the space for another golfer (there is no penalty for cancellations except "same day" cancellations through our call center. Those will result in a small yardage penalty).  Also... be sure to post good course reviews because each thumbs down rating of your course review will cost you a yard!

YARDAGE EXPIRATION
Currently, your yards don't expire; you can redeem yards whenever (and wherever) it's convenient for you. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time.

YARDS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE
Your Frequent Golfer Yards cannot be transferred to another LastMinuteGolfer. If your account is closed, your yards will be deleted from our system.

AIRLINE MILES -  MORE REWARDS FOR LMG MEMBERS! (NEW) - Earn extra airline miles playing golf.
Pick your favorite credit card and register that card and you'll start earning 3 miles for every dollar you spend (through Sept 30, 2008) booking prepaid LastMinuteGolfer golf! Before you know it, you'll be redeeming your miles on free trips and LastMinuteGolfer yards on free golf!
