Played Rebel on Sunday morning (not through LMG) as a shotgun start. Weather was overcast/foggy upon starting which made the first few holes pretty cool however once the sun broke through around 11:00 it turned into a beautiful day. Unlike a typical shotgun, the course moved very well even without on-course marshalls; we only had to wait on maybe two tee blocks. Despite being late in the season, the course was in really nice shape, very few leaves to conceal a golf ball. Long story short, I hadn't played Rebel in 2009 and I'd forgotten what a nice track it is - I'd recommend it to anyone.

I have been eyeing Rebel Creek on LMG for some time, and made the drive from Scarborough last week to play it for the first time at the $55 Last Minute Rate. As far as I am concerned, Rebel Creek is the best deal on LMG even with the $20 I spent in gas to get there. The unique layout is fantastic with a scoreable front nine to warm up before hitting the very tough 10-15 stretch of holes. Holes 9 & 18 give you 2 legitimate Eagle/Birdie chances with 2 very played shots to the green. Beware however, some big numbers could be made on #18 if you stray right of the fairway. The overall course condition and strength of the Par 3's made for a great golfing experience. I will be back to play Rebel Creek many times next season.
Spectacular day although a little chilly but the sunshine and the LMG rate of $19.34 made it worth while. I arrived and hour early for my tee time and was allowed out as a single and managed to complete my round in just under 3 hours. The course was in great shape and the greens ran true. Rebel Creek is indeed one of my favorites and it comes highly recommended.

We made the drive out to Rebel Creek for the 8 30 tee time. We got in a bit early and had a chance to hit a bucket of balls on the range and spend some time on the practice green (highly recomended) before starting.
As usual, the service was great from the moment we arrived at the bag drop to the moment we left.
The course is in immaculate condition as the rains have made the course green and lush and the fairways will give you a good long roll when you really lay into one.
Course layout is one of my faves as you are challenged on every hole (#8 is a devil of a par 3 so aim for the fat part of the green).
Greens roll FASTT and most are two tiered so you cant let up after you get there because you'll be kicking yourself wondering how you got there in two shots and leaving with a double bogey
In terms of value, Rebel continues to offer the best value on LMG, I will play this course any chance I get.

Was resting an injury and really got the itch after 10 days not swinging the club. Saw a lone single time at Rebel Creek on LMG and played the next day, Sept. 23. A little worried about my hurt because I was getting physio as well. Double strength Advil and a lot of stretching and excercising before hitting range balls and I was back in business. Joined up with another LMG member and his buddy and wouldn't you know it they wanted to play from the Gold Tees! The yardage is just 6460 but rated at 71.3/129 slope so it is difficult on a normal day. Today was windy and the fairways soften up by overnight rain so my 250 yard drives were exacty that, no roll. The other (young gorillas) guys were hitting 280 - 290. They were using 7 - 9 and wedges on approaches, I was using 7-wood, 5 - 6 iron! But we all had a great day (beat both of them) at a great course. Fairways and greens in super shape, gold tee blocks hardly used and we finished in just over 4 hours. What more can you ask for?

Played Rebel Creek with my son a few weeks ago. It was the first time I ever encountered a fog delay! Anyway, when we arrived at the course the manager old us that they were expecting to get golfers out as soon as the fog lifted. They worked very hard get everyone out as soon as possible. We had a chance to use the range which they gave us for free due to the delay. The practise area was excellent from the practise bunkers, greens and chipping green. The course itself was in absolutely fantastic shape! Better bring your putting game to this course. The greens were very fast and putted very true! The many elevation changes made you think of the shots that you wanted to hit and made it a good test of golf! The view from some of the elevations was beautiful. The course is very challenging and rewarding if you are able to execute your shots! All the staff were extremely pleasant and proud of the course! It was well worth the drive from Mississauga for my son and I. We will definately go out to play Rebel Creek again! Great value for the level of course! A must play for the avid golfer!

I thoroughly enjoyed Rebel Creek today, partly I'm sure due to posting a career round of 84 but also because this is simply a superb track. The one thing you will note, however is I marked the greens conditions down as they had been sanded & verti-cut this week. So they ran slower and a bit straighter than normal, but this was noted on their description prior to booking and the course provided a $10 food voucher to the LMG patrons as compensation. That made a good value great & definitely worth the drive to the K-W area.
Aside from the greens, the course was in great shape. There are lots of elevation changes at Rebel, plus a considerable assortment of water, traps and "natural environment" beyond the rough to lose your ball in. Strategy comes into play as you can't use a driver off every tee and second shots on par 5's if you aren't going to be on in 2 have to be thought out.
We saw the cart girls numerous times, the halfway house was good and sevice generally was fine. And great September summer weather - what more could you want for $59 ($49 if you consider the $10 voucher).

Played Rebel Creek two weeks ago and had a really enjoyable round.
Rebel Creek has some really nice elevation changes especially on the four par 5's. Fairways are in great shape and the greens rolled fast and true.
Take advantage of the par 4's on the front which are pretty straight and not overly long (except hole #2), as the par 4's on the back require a lot more thinking and strategy.
The only negative part of the day was being told I couldn't use the range to warm up after an hour and a half drive, because they had to do some maintenance. Twenty minutes after seeing nothing happening on the range a member waltzed over to the range with a full bucket of balls. This definitely rubbed me the wrong way but the beautiful course made up for the rough start.
I've now played the best and worst rounds of the year at this course. Luckily this place is so great I could enjoy myself even playing so horribly.
As usual the fairways are looking great with just having the expected divot marks considering how easy it is here to make them. The layout is great and the greens were running true.
They have a double ended range, large putting green and a practice bunker and green to work on your game. Alsom I always look forward to the island 19th hole as a great ending to the day.
Course is great, food is great, drinks are cold and the price can't be beat through LMG.

This is at least the 3rd round I've played at Rebel Creek this year and I am still impressed each and every round.
We played on August 24th and even after all the rain we've received the course was in great condition. Surpisingly the cart rule was 'scatter' which means this place drains really well. Only once did I encounter a soggy area and it wasn't even that bad.
Green conditions were very good and roll beautifully as usual. A lot of front pin positions which tested your accuracy but it wasn't unfair. Tee boxes and fairways were also in great shape as were the few bunkers I happened to find.
I wish this course wasn't such a drive (~1 hour from Stoney Creek) but the commute to get there is worth it. All staff from the Pro Shop to the bartenders to the maintenance crew are very friendly and courteous. Rebel Creek is a true gem and should not be overlooked.
We played this for the first time last Sunday with 2 guests and we were all very impressed and will definately go back. The course was in excellent condition and the layout is very unique. My wife and I thought the layout was a cross between Braeben (Mississauga) and Whistle Bear (Cambridge). The on course staff were great throughout the day, in fact the half-way house had just closed for the evening as we approached but the attendant took and filled our order anyway. Excellent value and great golf. Longer hitters can move back to the back two decks for a good challenge while higher handicappers will appreciate the view as they drive to their tees.

Played here last Wednesday with three friends, two were first timers to Rebel Creek and now they know why I like coming here. From many of the tee boxes the view is quite spectacular. The day before, they had to shut down the course because of the severe weather so Wed. was cart path only. If you couldn't keep the ball on the cart path side on some of the holes it was a great test of fitness. Got to meet Tom Henke who was in the group ahead of us and had a nice chat with him. Anyone looking for a great course to play at a red flag rate will certainly find it well worth it. The food in the clubhoues is very good also with a very pleasant staff.

I've played this course several times over the last two years, including a couple weeks ago, and haven't been disappointed. The course is always in great condition. Greens are quick and hold. Fairways are well groomed but not too short for the higher handicapper. Don't be afraid to try the Titanium tees. The card says almost 7000 yards, but the hard fairways and rolling terrain help a ton. Who am I kidding, rolling terrian?! There isn't much wasted space in the layout, but the course is on one of the highest hills in the area with tons of elevation changes (#2 = 480 yard Par 4 up a 30 foot rise; #10 = 520 yard Par 5 down a 75 foot hill at least). Unless you are a mountain goat, take the cart!! If you do play the tips, take advantage of the short par 5 tenth because the back nine is tough - especially watch out for holes 11 through 14! The 19th hole and food are great too. There are lots of courses in the area, but with LMG this is a good value.

I played Rebel Creek twice in the last month. Despite being wet from lots of rain on both occasions, the course was in incredible shape and the greens were very quick. There always seems to be a lot of front pins whenever I visit this course. The second time I played was during a LMG event and was treated very well from the moment we arrived at the course. I hope to be back at least once more before the end of the season. If you havn't played it before, it should definately be on your list of courses to play.
From the minute you arrive, you know you are at a top notch facility. Rebel Creek is a first class operation all around, welcoming professional and courteous staff at check in and starter hut, complimentary cold bottle of water by starter is a nice touch. Amazing practice facilities, arrive early and enjoy.
Great layout and very scenic especially from the higher ground, great use of the land to frame some very well designed holes make for a very enjoyable round, love those elevated tees.
Tee blocks, fairways and greens in great shape. The greens are hard but hold the ball well and ran true at a good speed for my game. The bunkers look great are well designed and positioned, but unfortunatelly the one I landed in had less than a 1/4" of sand on top of hard clay... Golf operations take note.
As I said earlier I love the layout, but I gotta tell you the final two holes for me rated amongst the worst two I've played... that monster uphill 18 is just ugly and not a good way to finish 18 holes on a hot day...
I highly recommend this course to anyone that enjoys the finer things in golf...

Very nice to play a course that has many elevation changes. Being from Windsor/ London a lot of the courses are quite flat. Rebel Creek offered a nice challenge and was very well kept. Will definately play again.
I had a great time playing in the tournament on Tuesday. Considering how wet some of the fairways were there was very little standing water. If only I could leard to hit the ball first especially with the wet conditions I could of had a much better day.
The course is as usual in spectacular condition and the layout is one of my favorites. There are large fairways to aim at and wayward drives are forgiving also with the way most fairways are banked. There are also a lot of risk/reward opportunities.
I am looking forward to playing this course many more times in the future and reccommend you go give it a try if you havent yet.

Played in the LMG Event on June 30th. First time at an event and first time at Rebel Creek. Would first like to thank my playing partners (Wayne, Micheal and Norm "Love those PRO V's").Had a a great time. Now for the course. Weather wasn't the best but really didn't interfere with the golf or the spirit. I found the course to be truly fair with fairways in excellent condition, despite all the rain they had received. The bunkers were wet but from the tee's, they made the course the scenic beauty that it is. The greens were large and I found them to roll fairly quickly and true. Too bad people (not our LMG group)don't bother to repair ball marks. Tee's were level (being a Lefty, I appreciate that) and in good shape. All n all, a good test for your game (risk and reward). I recommend all give this course a go. I will again. To LMG, I appriciate the professional "Welcome" upon arrival and will be looking forward to many more events in the future.
