If you are looking for a challenge this course will not disappoint. I have had many oppurtunities to play this course for no charge because I know about all of the staff. It is a long course and has a bunch of hazards. If you are not hitting good then its going to be a rough day. You have to be ready to play some serious golf. Very fun course if you get the chance to play. Usually in great shape.
This is a great golf course. Long and designed with the natural environment. No forced/awkward holes. The course is in excellent condition. My favorite course in Atlanta. I would join the club if I lived closer.
I have had the pleasure of playing most of the courses south of I-20 and can say without hesitation this course is by far the best. With only being opened a short time, the fairways are in great shape and the greens are extremely well manicured. If I had to sum up the course in a statement it would be "Long and tight". The par fives from the blues present a golfer with the challenge of correct ball placement not just killing it and hopeing for a good second shot. The 620 yard par five on the back was the best example of this. I would hope everyone plays in the LMTT challenge next week. IT is well worth the drive. Once this course matures, it will be a challenge for all golfers and skill levels. My advice is join sooner than later, they are expecting to raise fees by next year.
