We've played here several times before and this was the best the course has been. Good greens make all the difference. Carts with GPS are great. It should help to speed play, but not today. Seems people who play golf should learn several things about the game. REPAIRING BALLMARKS and SLOW PLAY. Its not the US OPEN! Not repairing ballmarks is LAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I see someone not repairing theres then I will say something. Your only hurting yourselves.....

Played course for first time on Saturday July 18th. Overall a good course for the money. Played the white tees which were a bit short but still a challange. Will play from the blues next time. Fairways were solid and in a very good condition. Greens were not great but not bad either. A lot of ball marks on the greens (both repaired marks and not repaired, help out and fix the marks you see)! Was very suprised with how true the greens rolled and they were quick as well. Will play this course many more times in the future!

Course was in good shape. Greens were rolling FAST, big time. Def good course for the money. They are putting some money back into the experience through GPS yardage markers in the carts and a tracking system that will tell you when you are off the course or in a restricted area. NOTE: If you are in a restricted area, the cart will not go forward and you must back out of the area you are in.
Def good course for the money and the specials this club offers weekly.

Played here on 7/12 for $45 through LMTT. The course was in good shape. Greens were rolling fast as the day progressed. Saw the cart girl at least 3 times during our round. The only issue that I continue to have with this course is the ball marks on the greens. I don't know why folks want take a minute to fix them. Over all I enjoyed the course and our round. Hard to beat for $45 on the weekend.

Played on a coupon Sunday morning for $45. The course is in excellent shape and on par with Reunion as far as overall conditioning. Greens rolled pretty true and fast and considering all the heat we have had....they were in great shape. I sure wish folks would fix their ball marks however.

Played for the first time 7/3. Have always steered away from Hampton because friends played it when first opened and they commented about trick holes and many blind shots. Either the course changed or they are nuts. Course has a fine layout and except for a couple of tough spots on the greens and fringe, excellent condition. Will play it again in a heartbeat.

They need to put some water barrels on the course and the drink cart only worked the back nine. Need to change those two minor inconveniences.

The course was in great shape and the pace of play was very good. The best was the value though. It is a little bit of a drive but for $38.00 it was well worth it. I have spent double that on some courses that weren't near as nice as this one.

This course is a great value on LMTT. It is easy to get to and the scenary is beautiful. The course was in good shape overall. Some greens had some issues, but nothing major. Would have liked to see the cart girl earlier as it was very hot outside and she didnt start until 10am. We had an early tee time(8am) so bring water if you tee off early. The GPS is great but the governor is really annoying. On one hole I was barely in the rough and it made me drive in reverse to back into the fairway. I like the course layout and you can't beat the value.

Played 6/28. Tee boxes and fairways are in good shape and the bunkers are pretty good as well. The greens are in need of some work as most have serious problems around the fringe and are thin and sandy. They are very soft and will hold a shot but do not putt consistently. All the water barrels are gone so you now only have the fountains at the two on-course restroom shacks. We saw the beverage cart twice which is awful for a high 90's day. Relatively slow play and no marshall to speed things along made it a little tough. They have installed a simple GPS system under the dash in the carts which is really great. However they have also installed a new governor system with it that seriously limits cart speed in some areas. Very safe but also annoying.

Played as a threesome on Sat early morning 6/13/09. We got off right on time and the pace was wonderful except for a short wait on a couple of holes. The course was in very good condition and given the rain over the past few days the greens were receptive and surprisingly fast. They putted very well and were very similar to the putting green. The fairways and tee boxes are fairly lush and you rarely found your ball with a less than desireable lie when you were on or just off the fairway. The cart girl seemed to be there when we were ready but we found very few watering stations along the way. Given the layout and the current conditions it seems to be a pretty good value when utilizing your LMG pricing. I will definitely go back.

Played on Saturday 5/23, course was in great condition and the greens were nice and fast. The back nine is wide open and great to hit long drives on. Needs a starter to control the pace, got stuck behind a group of 5. Also no beverage girls, much needed.

The course was in really great shape. The greens were holding well. There were two or three fairways (esp. #10) that were just in fair shape. All in all, the course plays nicely. The staff are very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend to others.

Played Hampton on 4/30 as a twosome. Pace was great did not have to wait and was not pushed. Fairways were so so and does anybody know how to repair a ball mark in Cumming? Greens were ok except for all the scars. I usually repair mine and others but some folks just don't care. At least look for a second! You have to be on your game to score well here and the fairways will be nice since they have been punched today.

Played @ Hampton for the first time in over a year. I was impressed by the condition of the course. It was still wet at some parts of the course but considering the amount of rain we have had lately, it was in great shape.

The greens were excellent. They ran very smooth and I thought they were rolling as fast as they ever have. They were soft and accepting to approach shots.

The rest of the course was in good shape. The tees/fairways have grown in and were ready for the summer golf season.

I enjoyed the GPS system that was installed in the carts. Really helped with the distance. I look forward to making it back there this year. Hopefully with a nice discount from LMG.

Play 4/12, Special rate of $35, so good value. Being Easter did not expected the course to be real crowded but it was backed up all the way around. Course very wet but that was expected with all the rain. Front nine is very tight and hilly, back much more open. Enjoyable layout.

Played the course on 4/4/09. Course was wet from previous rains so cart path only. The course is definitely two different courses from front nine being tight and tree lined to the back nine being wide open. Don't let wide open fool you though. The protection is in the bunkering, sloping fairways and blind shots. I enjoyed the round with two expections: 1) the back nine greens had aeration holes and sand that had a major effect on the ball. It may not have been as bad if the front nine greens weren't in such great condition. It was too big of a difference to make the adjustent putting between front and back nine. 2)We did not see the refreshment cart until number 17. After 17 holes of not seeing anyone are we really going to pay for anything with one hole left?!

Overall, it was a good day and will play again...

Played Hampton for the first time on Sunday 3/22 - Mixed feelings overall. The conditions were adequate for this time of year. Fairways were playable, tee boxes were a little bit overgrown and greens rolled fine. Took just under five hours to play 18 holes on a Sunday morning, and only saw a ranger once on the course, who provided little help, and proceeded to buzz along in his cart while I'm addressing a ball no more than 10 yards off the path.

Prior reviews of the layout are accurate. There's multiple holes on the front which are borderline unfair, between the forced carries/blind shots/elevation changes, however, with the exception of one par 4 on the back, much of the back nine was very playable for a first time guest. Criticism of the 18th hole is probably unfair - having a false front isn't easy, but, I thought it was a pretty good closing hole.

Not sure if I'll play again - long way from downtown, yet, at $45 with LMTT on a weekend, the value isn't bad.
