Orchard Hills has the look, feel and flavor of a traditional Scottish Links course with its gentle rolling fairways, subtle mounding and natural grass areas separating its fairways. This Don Cottle designed 18-hole championship course is located on land that served as a Georgia peach and pecan orchard until the late '60s. The spacious bent grass greens are always very well maintained with an average stimp speed of 10 or better. Also know as one of the best draining courses in Atlanta. In 1997, Orchard Hills added an additional nine holes to compliment the existing 18 hole Scottish Links style course. The "Rock Garden" is more of a shot maker's course and requires much more accuracy off the tee, having narrower fairways and smaller undulating greens. You will quickly realize why Orchard Hills has become a home for so many Atlanta area golfers- "Southern Hospitality with a Scottish links flavor". Webmaster's Notes Orchard Hills offers is a really enjoyable day of golf. If you're lucky, you may be able to get away with an occasional misdirected drive; however if you get caught up in one of the Scottish links style natural grass areas, you'll need more than luck!
The combination of 27 great golf holes and a friendly and courteous staff make Orchard Hills a perfect place to consider for your next corporate outing. | Directions | Print Driving Directions | | Take I-85 South to Exit 41 (Hywy 29).
