Why are rates different?
	If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability. If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.

This is a former host course for the Buick Open qualifier. The golf course is open to the golfing public. The golf club features an 18-hole championship golf course overlooking many small ponds in Howell. The par 72 course provides any golfing buff with a challenging course. The layout of the course - designed by Ralph Banfield- dares both novice and seasoned golfers. The golf course has three different sets of tees that provide a variety of choices for all visiting golfers and stretches to a length of 6828 yards from the championship markers. Faulkwood Shores possesses a USGA course stroke rating of 74.3 and a slope rating of 140 from the championship tees.

Webmaster's Notes
Faulkwood Shores has two distinct nine holes. The first nine plays open with several large undulating greens. Green side bunkers make it harder to reach the green on a roll so you need to take enough club to get the ball high and land it soft. If you have ever dreamed about getting enough spin to bring the ball back, a few of the greens can help you do just that! The back nine winds through some trees. It plays longer and you should be able to use most of your irons on the back. The finishing hole is fun, you will be shooting over a pond with your second shot.

From I-96: (From Lansing) Exit the M-59 exit, follow M-59 east to Latson Road, make a right. To Golf Club Road, make a left. To Hughes Road, make a right. 1/4 mile on right.
