Beautiful rolling terrain with a lot of water in play. Course features a par 5 with an island green. Bermuda fairways and tees, large L93 bentgrass greens in great condition, sod wall bunkers. Royal Lakes opened in 1990 and was closed in the summer of 2002 undergoing a $2 million dollar renovation. A must play!
This course has been a NE Georgia favorite for a long time. If you like island greens, then you'll like the 11th hole. It takes 3 good shots to get to the green on this awesome par 5. Par is a great score. This course is definitely named correctly. Lots of lakes (on 7 holes), and royal scenery.
