Why are rates different?
	If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability. If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.

Verdict Ridge was designed in the tradition of famous North Carolina golf courses, with maintaining the natural layout of the land. But what truly makes Verdict Ridge interesting is that our golf course feel is similar to a cross-state drive through NC. You can actually see different areas of the state represented as your round progresses. The first few holes give the feel of Pinehurst as the area pine trees outline each hole. As you continue to the low-lying areas of the property, you find holes that meander along creeks, streams and natural wetlands, giving a North Carolina coastal feel. Finally, you come to the final four holes that have dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views. The cart path rides like the Blue Ridge Parkway, and you feel as though you are in the North Carolina mountains.

It's no wonder Verdict Ridge was voted one of the best overall new courses in North Carolina. Our course has attracted such events as the US Open Qualifying, Mid-Amateur Qualifying and NC Four Ball Championship. With those kinds of credentials, you'll find a course that always challenges the golfer to improve his/her game. With four sets of tees on each hole, every golfer can play to their skill level. The greens are large in size and offer several pin locations on each hole. You can truly find something new about this course each time you play it.

FROM DOWNTOWN CHARLOTTE: Take Brookshire Freeway (HWY 16 North) for 17 miles. Turn left on HWY 73 West. Go 1 mile and turn right on Little Egypt Road. Go 3 miles and turn left on Kidville Road. Verdict Ridge is ahead on the left. FROM SOUTH CHARLOTTE: Take I-485 West to I-77 North to the Brookshire Freeway (Highway 16 North). Continue for 17 miles and turn left on HWY 73 West. Go 1 mile and turn right on Little Egypt Road. Go 3 miles and turn left on Kidville Road. Verdict Ridge is ahead of the left. FROM UNIVERSITY AREA: Take Harris Blvd. West to I-77 North. Take exit 25 and turn left (West) on HWY 73. Continue for 5 miles and cross HWY 16. Continue one mile and turn right on Little Egypt Road. Go 3 miles and turn left on Kidville Road. Verdict Ridge is ahead on the left. FROM STATESVILLE: Take I-77 South to exit 36 (HWY 150) turn right on HWY 150 West. Take 150 West to HWY 16 South (turn left). Take HWY 16 South into Denver and go through the stoplight at Bank of America, then take the first right onto St. James Church Road. Go 3 miles and take a right on Kidville Road, Verdict Ridge is ahead on the left. Verdict Ridge is approximately 20 minutes from CLT/Douglas Airport and only 25 minutes from Uptown Charlotte.

Homes range in the $250's to $800's. You may build on one of our lots or choose a home from one of our select builders. We offer Equity Memberships and a full tournament schedule for members, as well as monthly social events for the rest of the family.
