| Why are rates different? |
 |
|

If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability.
If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.

Situated beautifully on rolling hills and a meandering creek, the Chimneys Golf Course is located in Winder just a few minutes off Hwy 316 on Hwy 11. One of the most outstanding features of this beautiful course is the intricate hand-laid rock work created on the front nine using the naturally occurring rock from the site. The par-72 course plays nearly 6500 yards from the tips, and offers five sets of tees for golfers of all levels.
In addition to its outstanding beauty, The Chimneys is proud to join a growing league of golf courses that is taking advantage the environmentally conscious practice of using recycled water to keep the course beautiful. While not quite clean enough to drink, the water meets or surpasses the EPA's requirements for land application, as well as provides the course with a constant, dependable supply of water during these times of increased watering restrictions and drought.
The clubhouse features a fully stocked pro shop and self-serve snack bar. We have great outing rates. Our friendly staff will be happy to assist you with any of your outing, event or tournament needs.
Webmaster's Notes This course is the tale of two nines. You'll need to play it safe on the front. The mounding and rock work will provide lots of challenges on a demanding front nine. And then, it's go for broke on the back where a couple of drivable Par 4's should provide several birdie opportunities.
