Royal Ontario combines rolling countryside, nine large ponds, mature trees, generous and narrow fairways, and large and small greens as part a design that is sure to test every part of your game.
Opened in 2003, the course is built on what was originally a stable and equestrian center, with large meadows and dense woods covering the acreage. Placing the holes within these spaces allowed for the woods to frame the fairways and greens. After experiencing Royal Ontario, the enticing shape of many holes will easily become ingrained in the golfers memory.
A variety of tee blocks will allow golfers of all calibers to find the desired amount of challenge to suit their game amongst the fescue and water found throughout the course. The tees stretch from from 5,225 back to 7,074 yards making a different course possible with each visit. When you add the scenery and vistas visible around the links, enjoyment is easy to find. This course will be a favourite for all golf enthusiasts.
Royal Ontario immediately ranked in the top 10 new courses in Ontario in 2003. Take the Royal Ontario Course Tour
