Why are rates different?
	If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability. If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.

The newest (originally designed and built in 1968 and completely renovated in 2002) and longest (at 6760 yards) course, Pine Lakes is a veritable masterpiece that meanders through ocean forests and undisturbed hammocks populated by migratory birds. The original Dick Wilson/Joe Lee design was completely renovated in 2002 by course architect Clyde Johnston, designer of Southerness Golf Club, Golf Course in Atlanta. Johnston took what was a near perfection and added his vision and flavor – including new lakes and bunkers, redesigned greens and drainage improvements – making it the premier course on Jekyll Island. During course design Clyde Johnston incorporated "Family Friendly" tee boxes, making this the only course in America that allows players of all ages to compete evenly. Pine Lakes and Jekyll Island are the official hosts for the annual US Kids Golf Jekyll Island Cup.

Directions

By Land - Jekyll is convenient to I-95, take Exit 29 and follow the signs east on U.S. 17 for approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto the Downing Musgrove Causeway (GA 520). Be sure to stop at the Jekyll Island Welcome Center, 4 miles on left. Cross onto Jekyll and through Greeting Station (a $3 Daily Parking Fee required) and begin your escape to Jekyll! By Sea - Jekyll is located on the Intercoastal Waterway and is a convenient stop for boaters. The Jekyll Harbor Marina provides full service facilities including gasoline and diesel fuel, shower, laundry, pool and hot tub. The historic Jekyll Wharf also offers dockage and fueling options. By Air - International airports in Savannah (SAV) and Jacksonville (JAX) are a short 60-minute drive from Jekyll. Both airports offer rental car and limousine services. Brunswick's Golden Isles Airport is served by regular flights of Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA/Delta Connection) out of Atlanta (ATL). Private pilots may use the Jekyll Island Airport (09J).
