Every golfer in North Florida and South Georgia has heard of Quail Heights Country Club. As a matter of fact, most golfers from Miami to Canada have heard of the 27-hole gem situated right next to Interstate 75 in Lake City, FL.
It’s true; golfers from all over the country plan a short or even extended stay in this rural community so they can enjoy the beauty and flavor of golf with true southern hospitality.
Quail Heights’ members and guests have three 9-hole courses, each with its own characteristics. They are appropriately named the CREEKS, the PONDS and the DUNES. Next to the service and friendly atmosphere, this is perhaps the feature that has made Quail Heights what it is today. Imagine yourself playing the Creeks and the Ponds today, the Ponds and the Dunes the next. Then maybe the Dunes and the Creeks – I think maybe your starting to get the picture. It’s a new course everyday and truly separates Quail Heights from all the rest.
Quail Heights has an extensive tournament schedule and a very active Men’s and Ladies’ Golf Associations. The club has a history of hosting prestigious events such as the FUTURES Tour and the former TPA Tour with players in the field such as Seve Ballesteros, Steve Jones, Tom Lehman, John Daly and Kelli Kuehne. An annual Junior Invitational with former champions such as Nolan Henke and Michelle McGann. Quail Heights hosts the annual “Quail Shoot” which is one of the best Member-Guest golf tournaments in North Florida. The Captain’s Choice Scramble annually attracts nearly 40 four-man teams. The Lake City Open hosts about 120 players year after year. | Directions | Print Driving Directions | From I-75 North or South
