10/27/2009 - Lanier Golf Club Reports: "Fall is a great time to play Lanier Golf Club. We have many hardwoods on the course that add to an enjoyable round.
The greens have healed nicely since aeration and as of this writing the fairways are still green having had just one light frost on them."

Lanier Golf Club will OPEN for play beginning April 1st, 2008.
Since 1970, Lanier Golf Club has enjoyed a rich and well respected reputation as one of the area’s finest golf courses. The whole family can enjoy this golfer’s golf club. The club features an 18-hole championship par 72 Joe Lee designed course. The club also features a separate practice and driving range facility, clubhouse, pool, and tennis courts. Its located just thirty minutes north of Atlanta just off Georgia 400, 2 miles from exit #14 and Hwy 20 and across the road from Lake Lanier, the area's largest recreation lake in Georgia.
Lanier Golf Club is now one of the best values in North Atlanta with affordable green fees. In recent years the golf course has undergone extensive design improvements and manicuring to rate as one of the most enjoyable courses to play day in and day out. Lanier boasts some of the finest bent grass putting surfaces in Georgia and has been host to many Georgia Golf Association events such as the Georgia mid-Amateur, Georgia Amateur qualifying, and US Open Qualfying.
PACE OF PLAY- Lanier expects players to finish within 4.5 hours. The ranger WILL push you along if you fall behind. This policy is in place to ensure that all golfers have an enjoyable round at Lanier Golf Club.

This course is NOT your typical development where the real estate came first.. it was designed with the golfer in mind FIRST and not as an afterthought. | Directions | Print Driving Directions   | From GA 400: Take GA 400 North to exit 14 the first exit going east toward Buford on Highway 20.Go about one mile to corner with CVS Pharmacy on right. Turn left on Nuckols Road. Go to deadend into Buford Dam Road. Turn right. Golf course about one half mile on your right.
From Buford: Take highway 20 until you get almost into Cumming area and you'll see major road construction. Look for CVS pharmacy on left. Turn right onto Nuckolls Road at that light. Go to deadend into Buford Dam Road. Turn right. Golf course about one half mile on your right.
To go to the range go past the club a few hundred yards and it will be on the right. |
