| Why are rates different? |
 |
|

If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability.
If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.

The Ackerman Hills course features 18 challenging holes contoured along the campus of Purdue University. The narrow fairways and well-protected greens demand accurate shot making and good course management. The hilly, forested terrain also offers views of the campus through beautiful blossoms and brilliant foliage.
Formerly known as the Purdue South Course, Ackerman Hills was originally designed by William Diddel and built in 1934. The course was host to the NCAA Men’s Golf Championships in 1961 when Purdue won the team championship and Jack Nickalus won the individual medal. The course was then redesigned by Larry Packard in 1968 and further improved in 1998 with the opening of the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. The course is named in recognition of Jim and Lois Ackerman's support of Purdue Athletics.
The Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex has every amenity needed for working on your game. The Practice Facilities include large bluegrass and bentgrass tees, artificial hitting surfaces, short game practice areas with sand bunkers, and multiple putting greens. The PGA Professional staff at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex is also available for individual lessons for those interested in taking their game to the next level. Please contact Head Professional Dan Ross for more information on golf lessons.
