Why are rates different?
	If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability. If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.

Darby Creek Golf Course sits on 204 naturally rolling acres located in the rural southeast corner of Union County. The course layout takes advantage of this setting by blending in with the pristine countryside that surrounds it. A portion of the golf course was formerly home to The Ohio Orchard Company from the 1920's to mid 1980's. The orchard drew people from long distances with their apples, peaches, cherries, strawberries and melons. Four cherry trees still stand at the entrance to the golf course. Sitting next to hole #4 tee box is the Woods-Reeds Cemetery, the site of the first Presbyterian Church in Union County est. 1800c until it burned down and was rebuilt in nearby Milford Center. The golf course maintains the cemetery which consists of approximately 30 graves dating in the 1800's. The oldest identified is that of Rev. Samuel Woods the first pastor of the church who was laid to rest at the ripe old age of 36 in 1815. The woods throughout the back 9 were a favorite for sugar camps set up to draw syrup from the many maple trees. A large rock next to #14 tee box marks a grave of an unknown individual. Local folklore has it is the result of an argument between two brothers who had over indulged in sugar beer from their still.

Columbus, 270 Outer Belt - Route 33 west to Plain City/SR 161 exit. Take a left on SR 161 and go west to Plain City. Outside of Plain City go right on to Middleburg-Plain City Road. Follow this road for 5 miles to the first stop sign. This will be SR 38. Go right on SR 38 for 1 mile to Fairbanks High School. Take a left on to Orchard Road at the high school. The golf course is 1/4 mile on the right. Cincinnati, Dayton, Springfield - Take SR 68 North through Springfield. Just outside of Springfield take SR 334 to SR 4. Go left on SR 4 to Milford Center. Just as you are leaving Milford Center you will come to Orchard Road on the right hand side. Turn right and the golf course is approximately 2 miles down the road on the left. Alternate Cincinnati - Take I71 to I270 NW - follow Columbus, I - 270 outer belt. Then follow Columbus, 270 outer belt instructions Lima,Wapakoneta, Bellefontaine - Take SR 33 toward Marysville. Outside Marysville, take SR 36 & SR 4 toward Springfield. As you enter Milford Center, Orchard Road will be on the left. Turn left and the golf course is approximately 2 miles down the road on the left. Piqua, Urbana - Take SR 36 East to SR 4. Go North (left) on to SR 4 to Milford Center. As you are leaving Milford Center, Orchard Road will be on the right. Turn right and the golf course is approximately 2 miles down the road on the left. SR 23 Marion Area - Take SR 4 Marion south to Marysville. Take SR 33 west around Marysville to SR 4 again. Take SR 4 SW toward Springfield. As you are entering Milford Center, Orchard Road will be on your left hand side. Take a left and the golf course is approximately 2 miles down the road on the left hand side. SR 23 Delaware Area - Take SR 36 West to Marysville. Catch SR 38 in downtown Marysville and go south (left). Take SR 38 past 2 other golf courses to Fairbanks High School. Turn right on to Orchard Road at the high school. The golf course is 1/4 mile on the right. Cleveland I - 71 Area - Take I-71 south to the Delaware/SR 36 exit. Go right on to SR 36. Take SR 36 through Delaware to Marysville. Catch SR 38 in downtown Marysville and go south (left). Take SR 38 past 2 other golf courses to Fairbanks High School.
