Special LastMinuteGolfer Member Rates and Tee Times Posted Soon
General Manager Doug Borow
Director of Golf Rick Oppliger
Why are rates different?
If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability.
If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.
Due to minor inaccuracies in the mapping of this course, we have chosen not to display a MapQuest map link. If you would like further clarifications on the directions, please call the course.
Cypresswood Golf Club is one of the most prominent daily fee golf complexes in the Southern United States. Situated on over 800 acres of rolling, heavily wooded terrain along the confluence of Spring and Cypress creeks, this 54-hole golf facility offers three unique golf experiences and the finest of playing conditions.
The Tradition course at Cypresswood opened in 1997 and was designed by Keith Foster - a well known golf course architect famous for his work at Walking Stick, Bighorn, The Bandit and The Quarry. The Tradition course has been rated the #1 daily fee course in the Houston area by the Houston Chronicle for four consecutive years. The Tradition will play host to the 1st Stage of the 2005 PGA Qualifying Tournament in October.
The Creek and the Cypress courses earned Golf Digest’s ranking of the “Best New Course” in 1988 and 1989, respectively. The golf cousres offer a challenging and exciting golfing experience, with dramatic topography and are nestled within the native forest of North Houston.
Conveniently located 28 miles North of downtown Houston and only minutes away from George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
From FM 1960 and I-45 go East on 1960 6.5 miles and turn left on Cypresswood Drive. From FM 1960 and Hwy 59 go West on 1960 4.5 miles and turn right on Cypresswood Drive. Go just over 1 mile North on Cypresswood Drive and turn right into our main entrance.
One good landmark whether you are going East or West on 1960 is a great big Carter Country billboard located at the intersection of FM 1960 and Cypresswood Drive....you can't miss it!
