| Why are rates different? |
 |
|

If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability.
If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.

Cherokee Run Golf Club is East Metro Atlanta's answer to the ultimate in semi-private golf facilities since opening in 1995. The golf course was designed by Arnold Palmer and was host to the 1996 Olympic Equestrian Events. Located within the Georgia International Horse Park, Cherokee Run Golf Club features Crenshaw bent grass greens, zoysia fairways, 96 strategically placed bunkers and natural granite outcroppings surfacing throughout the course. Set in the tall Georgia pines just minutes East of Atlanta in Conyers, the course climbs and drops through some startlingly unexpected elevation changes. Cherokee Run Golf Club is Golf at its Purest, Surrounded by Nature at its Finest!
The facility is so much more than just a great golf course. The club features a 15,000 square foot clubhouse that provides for a unique shopping experience in our lavishly adorned Golf Shop. Our restaurant provides the finest in dining selections for breakfast and lunch to include daily specials that have tantalized the appetites of guests and celebrities alike.
Webmaster's Notes Cherokee Run is known around Atlanta as one of the most difficult tracks in the entire area (slope of 142 from the tips!!!). As a rule, you'll find that accuracy is the real key at this Arnold Palmer Design Group course. You will need to bring your "A" game when you play Cherokee Run Golf Club. In some cases, what looks like a driver hole may not be. A good example of this is number 17.... if you take out a driver here and you catch it well, you may drive it through the fairway.... so, hit something less and play 17 as a three shot hole! The reachable par 5's include hole numbers 5 and 9 which are short (but TIGHT). It's all risk vs. reward. Number 8 is considered to be a signature hole... a short downhill (TIGHT again) par 4 which sets up a short approach to a well guarded green. | Directions | Print Driving Directions | | Take I-20 East towards Augusta (don't they play a golf tournament there??). Roughly 15 miles past 285 (the "perimeter" of Atlanta), take exit number 82 (Conyers/ Monroe). Go left and drive approximately 4 miles to Centennial Olympic Parkway. Turn right on Centennial Olympic Parkway and Cherokee Run is approximately 1 mile ahead on the left. Cherokee Run is approximately 35-40 minutes from Downtown and about 25 minutes from the intersection of I-20/285. |
