Why are rates different?
	If you're flexible on where and when you play, you may want to book times reserved for LastMinuteGolfers. You'll often enjoy significant savings, but reservations made inside 24 hours are prepaid and non-refundable and all reservations are held with a credit card. Very limited tee time availability. If you DO know where you want to play and when, then we suggest that you call the course, enjoy access to all available tee times, and book at the established course rates.

This shot maker's delight is one of the courses in the prestigious Sawgrass rotation. Ponte Vedra Golf and Country Club at Sawgrass (formerly the Oak Bridge Club) rewards thought and precision more than brute strength on this narrow and not overly long course.

As one might expect from a Sawgrass club, Ponte Vedra Golf and Country Club is kept in excellent condition and provides a number of the most attractive holes in the area. The 4th hole -- a 378-yard, par-4 straight-away -- necessitates the fiercest water negotiation. Roughs punctuate the right fairway and a lake ribbons along the left from the tee to skirt the front of a shallow, two-tiered green with a bunkered elevation.

Redesigned by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay with tree-lined fairways and slightly undulating greens, the course is thoroughly enjoyable for all levels of players.

Take Solano Rd. west to the first stop light. Turn left into the Sawgrass Players Club gatehouse where you will receive directions to the Ponte Vedra Golf and Country Club golf shop. Directions from I-95: Take I-95 to J. Turner Butler Blvd. (Rte. 202) in Jacksonville. Take J. Turner Butler Blvd. east all the way to A1A. Take A1A south to Solano Rd. Take Solano Rd. west to the first traffic light. Turn left into the Sawgrass Players Club gatehouse where you will receive directions to the Ponte Vedra Golf and Country Club golf shop. Directions from Jacksonville Airport: Go to I-95. Take I-95 south approximately 15 miles to J. Turner Butler Blvd. (Rte. 202) in Jacksonville. Take J. Turner Butler Blvd. east all the way to A1A. Take A1A south to Solano Rd. Take Solano Rd. west to the first traffic light. Turn left into the Sawgrass Players Club gatehouse where you will receive directions to the Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass.
